Winter in the Oxley Woods – London Children’s Photographer

Didn’t it feel amazing to finally have some beautiful weather in London last weekend? I jumped at the opportunity to take a few photographs in the wonderful winter sunlight that made an appearance on Sunday and could not have chosen a better little model for the session. Selma was as playful and up for running around as a three year old can be – don’t you just love how full of character she is? Photographing children and capturing their unique expressions gives me heaps of joy and satisfaction – I love my job as a children’s photographer. And there is something uber sweet about little girls in welly boot, don’t you agree?

Varnah and Mehmet: Hall Place Wedding – London Wedding Photographer

Today I would like to showcase Varnah and Mehmet’s beautiful London wedding that I photographed at the Hall Place in Bexley, in the South East (close to my part of town!). Hall Place is only a short drive away from Greenwich where I live, but I have not had a chance to photograph a wedding there yet until now. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens and even offered multiple options for group shots, a true photographer’s dream. Varnah looked absolutely stunning and was glowing as she walked down the aisle to get married to Mehmet, surrounded by family and accompanied by their beautiful daughters. It was one of those magical wedding days where the emotion and anticipation was almost palpable – felt honoured to be a part of it and be able to document in on my camera. Feel so lucky to be a wedding photographer, whose job is to capture pure happiness!

Fauzzia and John’s Engagement Session – London Wedding Photographer

I met with Fauzzia and John during one of the many glorious sunny evenings we had this summer in London (here is a sentence I never thought I’d say!). These two have a great energy and there was no shortage of fun and laughter – exactly what I love to photograph! In preparation for the session we exchanged emails trying to decide the best location and when John mentioned that the Albert Bridge is where he proposed to his wife-to-be, I knew this was just the perfect place for their engagement session. Albert Bridge is definitely one of the most beautiful in London, and it is surrounded by many other wonderful locations, including Battersea Park. I’m always so thrilled when my couples decide to have their engagement photographs taken at a place that is special to them – it raises the engagement session experience to a whole new level of meaning!

Engagement sessions are one of my very favourite things about wedding photography – especially about being a London wedding photographer! Getting to know my couples and have them warm up to my camera before the big day, exploring some of London’s most beautiful nooks and crannies, and simply having a bit of creative fun in a very relaxed environment is what I love.

Fauzzia and John – thank you very much for a great evening. Can’t wait for your wedding at the RSA next month!
